Such a beautiful dog!

This big, brindle girl is such a sweetie. She is Mona Lisa and she’s our Dog of the Day! “I have noticed that some people have been intimidated by my size, but you should know that I am probably more scared of you, then you should be of me. It was a rough start for me at the shelter and I am still pretty nervous. I didn’t know who to trust when I first arrived and it was hard to get me out of the kennel. I am grateful that the staff has been patient with me and understand my shy personality. I am still pretty fearful of quick movements and loud noises, but I am getting better through play groups! I am really working on becoming more relaxed. I know once I get into a new home it will be much easier for me. I hope you will give this sweet face a chance. I would love to have my own family.” Mona Lisa arrived at the shelter on Jan 23rd. She is 2 yrs old, about 62lbs and was picked up as a stray. You can adopt her at the main shelter today for $40!
